The former Private Practice star has booked a guest-starring role on The Mindy Project.

Switched at Birth's B.K. Cannon, who is also appearing on the show, first broke the news on Twitter, and Daly retweeted the news. It is unknown who he is playing on the show, which centers heavily on Dr. Mindy Lahiri's OB-GYN office.

Daly is also known for his roles on Wings and The Sopranos. He most recently guest-starred on Hawaii Five-0.

The Mindy Project returns with new episodes on Tuesday, April 1 at 9:30/8:30c on Fox.
