Michael Lohan Says Ronsons Were "Rude" to Lindsay

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson's breakup is turning into a family feud.
Lindsay's dad, Michael Lohan, told TVGuide.com the Ronson family was "rude" to his daughter over the weekend — apparently referring to a weekend incident in which the Ronsons barred her from a family party in Los Angeles. Three days later, some of Ronson's relatives walked into a Beverly Hills police station, inquiring about a restraining order.
Sgt. Gregg Mader told TVGuide.com that police told the family Monday they would need to go to court to seek an order. He declined to say whether it involved Lohan.
Yet, court intervention may not be in the works, after all. "Samantha has no plan to request a restraining order," Ronson's lawyer, David Bass, told People on Tuesday. "There is no basis for one."  
Bass could not immediately be reached for comment.
Michael Lohan spent months encouraging his daughter to break up with Ronson, calling the DJ a "drug," and "controlling," and insisting Ronson didn't have Lindsay's best interests at heart. He declined to comment on tabloid claims that Lindsay cuts herself and is again using drugs — claims that OK! Magazine says Ronson's mother, Ann Dexter-Jones, passed on to Beverly Hills cops.
"I hope Lindsay can move on," Lohan said. "I know Lindsay's upset over this, but it's an opportunity for her to get on with her life and pursue her career and the goals she should've been pursuing all along."
Lindsay, 22, confirmed her breakup with the celebrity DJ on Monday after rumors of a split swirled for weeks. She denied a split last week, but her father said the couple has had a "toxic" on-again, off-again relationship for a while.
TVGuide.com's calls and e-mails to Lindsay Lohan's rep were not immediately returned.
