Melissa Joan Hart Returns to Dancing on Melissa & Joey

Art imitates life when Melissa Joan Hart relives her Dancing with the Starsdays on this week's Melissa & Joey.

"It's Dancing with the Stars of Toledo," Hart tells TVGuide.com. "I get to be a complete lunatic in it, because I'm trying to learn how to dance and I'm a spaz and a klutz."

In Tuesday's episode (at 8/7c on ABC Family), Mel (Hart) is asked to participate in a local Dancing fundraiser. She's paired up with pro Mark Ballas, who was her partner in real life when she was a part of the cast on Season 9. But Mel doesn't find dancing as easy as Melissa did on the show.

"At the end I'm high on valium because I've hurt myself, so I'm dancing around totally high," she says.

The former Sabrina, the Teenage Witchstar also promises the episode won't be too cheesy.

"The writers were really smart about it because sometimes when you do crossover episodes like that it can get really floppy and hokie," she says. "They tied up all the ends."
