Melissa Gilbert and Bruce Boxleitner to Divorce

Little House on the Prairie's Melissa Gilbert has filed to divorce her husband, actor-writer Bruce Boxleitner, after 16 years of marriage, Us Weekly reports.

"We have loved each other for a very long time and we share four incredible sons together," said Gilbert in a statement issued in March, when the pair announced their split.

Gilbert, 47, and Boxleitner, 61, have one biological son together, 15-year-old Michael. The statement also refers to Gilbert's son, Dakota, from her previous marriage to Bo Brinkman, as well as Boxleitner's two from his marriage to Kathryn Oglivy, Sam and Lee.
