Amber Riley's Voice Will Snatch Your Soul in This Little Mermaid Live! Sneak Peek

It was announced earlier this month that Amber Riley would be joining Disney's The Little Mermaid Live!musical event as an original character created specifically for the show, but not much else was said about what to expect. Now TV Guide has a sneak peek at this character -- and yes, Riley is going to sing.

Emcee is a brand-new character brought in for the special who is going to introduce King Triton and his daughters at the top of the show. She's supposed to be in service to the royal family, but Riley admits that Emcee makes it a bit about herself.

Riley is most known for being a powerhouse vocalist on Glee, so it would be a shame for her not to use that voice for The Little Mermaid Live! Luckily, the sneak peek also gives us a glimpse of what Riley will be singing in the show, and she's definitely going to be belting during the number.

The Little Mermaid Live! airs Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 8/7c on ABC.
