The CW to Debut Life UneXpected in January

The CW will pair new midseason drama Life UneXpected with new episodes of One Tree Hill starting Monday, Jan. 18.

Life UneXpected follows a 16-year-old girl (Britt Robertson) who starts fresh with her newly discovered biological parents (Kristoffer Polaha and Shiri Abbleby) after years of jumping from foster home to foster home..

The series will premiere at 9/8c, temporarily taking over the time slot of Gossip Girl. Fans of the socialite series need not worry; Gossip Girl will return with new episodes on March 8, at which time Life UneXpected will move to 8/7c.

Life UneXpected is set to end its freshman run April 12, allowing One Tree Hill to reclaim its time period on April 19. One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl will then remain on the air through to their respective season finales.
