Hope Prepares for Miss Mystic Falls in Legacies Exclusive Photos

The kids at the Salvatore School have been so busy fighting off the monsters of the week on Legaciesthat we haven't gotten to see as many town functions as we did on The Vampire Diaries, but that's all about to change in next week's episode!

Hope (Danielle Rose Russell), Lizzie (Jenny Boyd), and Josie (Kaylee Bryant) are puttin' on the ritz for the Miss Mystic Falls pageant, and TV Guide has the exclusive first look at this killer episode. For those of you who didn't obsessively watch Legacies' mother show, The Vampire Diaries, this pageant was a town staple, and every high school girl worth her salt -- aka Caroline Forbes (Candice King) -- was ready to "inspire, aspire, and perspire" for that tiara. We can definitely expect quite a few nods to The Vampire Diaries in this episode. In fact, hardcore fans might just recognize Hope's dress!

You may also see a familiar face in these first look photos if you were a devout viewer of The Originals; as previously reported, Roman (Jedidiah Goodacre), a former flame of Hope's, will show up in town, setting off a few warning bells for her new boyfriend, Landon (Aria Shahghasemi). Not surprisingly, Hope doesn't seem thrilled to see the boy who seduced her and ended up getting her mother killed.

We're willing to give Roman the benefit of the doubt this time around, but given that town functions in Mystic Falls almost always end with bloodshed, maybe we shouldn't.
