Shiri Appleby lit the fuse that destroyed the Everlasting mansion in the series finale of UnREAL, and now she's bringing that same destructive energy to this week's Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

In an exclusive sneak peek at Thursday's episode, the Roswell alum steps into the role of Kitty Bennett, a young woman who crashes a wedding to accuse the groom (played by former Bones star TJ Thyne) of sexually assaulting her while acting as her therapist. The preview finds Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Carisi (Peter Scanavino) arriving on the scene where all hell had just broken loose.

With the bride being consoled in the corner and the groom a few feet away shouting assurances that he loves her, Kitty stands her ground near the aisle showing no regrets for her actions. "I was just trying to help," Kitty explains in the video.

Law & Order: SVU Just Shattered an Impressive TV Record

But the bridal party isn't too pleased about Kitty disrupting their friend's big day, nor do they seem to give the allegations any mind. "I just wanted somebody to know," Kitty tells Benson.

"Now everybody does," Benson hits back.

The episode, aptly titled "Dearly Beloved," will see the SVU squad investigate this sensitive case which will end up being a matter of he said, she said. It was directed by Elementary's Lucy Liu.

Law & Order: SVU airs Thursdays at 10/9c on NBC.
