Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are engaged, US Magazine reports.

"We're excited and incredibly happy about our engagement and we look forward to a wonderful future together," the couple said in a joint statement.

The reality TV hosts — he presides over NBC's Sing-Off and she over The CW's True Beauty-- began dating in 2006. The couple briefly split in 2009, but were able to reconcile.

Lachey, a former member of the boy band 98 Degrees, was previously married to Jessica Simpson.

Reps for the couple did not immediately respond to TVGuide.com's request for comment.
