The Twilight star dyed her brunette locks bright orange for her role in the upcoming film American Ultra, which begins shooting this month.

Stewart stars opposite Jesse Eisenberg in the action-comedy as a small-town couple whose lives are turned upside down when Eisenberg's Mike becomes the target of a government operation determined to wipe him out.

In order to get into the character of Phoebe, Stewart went to New Orleans' Maison de Cheveux salon, which posted the actress' new hairstyle on Instagram.
