24 movie in jeopardy after Fox passes on script
The series was shot over nine days in New York during a snow storm. The 44-year-old actor was in rehearsals for his Broadway debut, That Championship Season, at the time.
Fox recently axed the script for a big-screen adaptation of 24.
The Confession, written and directed by Brad Mirman (The Good Shepherd), hits Hulu in March.
