"Kayte and I are marrying because we are engaged, and we are engaged because we are in love and see no reason to postpone our happiness any longer," the actor told People in a statement.Grammer is in the midst of a divorce from his third wife, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer, with whom he has two children. Camille Grammer filed papers in July after 13 years of marriage. California law requires a six-month waiting period before a divorce can be finalized.

Grammer, 55, announced his engagement to Walsh, 29, earlier this month, two months after the flight attendant suffered a miscarriage. The Frasier star did not say when the impending nuptials will occur."We are planning something we wish to be a private affair among several of our friends," Grammer said in the statement. "Anything else is conjecture and false. Kayte and I are the only reliable source for this story. End of story."
