Kelsey Grammer Plots Return to Television

Starz has greenlighted Boss, a pilot which would bring Fraiser's Kelsey Grammer back to television, Varietyreports.

Described as "a modern-day King Lear," the drama follows the Chicago mayor, whom Grammer will portray.

Gus Van Sant is set to direct the pilot, while Grammer, Farhad Safinia and Stella Stolper will executive-produce.

Grammer recently tried his hand at series television with Hank, the short-lived ABC comedy.
