Last season on House, Dr. Taub (Peter Jacobson) learned he had impregnated two women. And come Episode 5, after House exits prison and the action returns to Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital, we will see Taub "reaping the benefits of my exploits," says Jacobson.
Adds executive producer David Shore, "He's got two babies, almost the exact same age, and not an ideal situation with either of the mothers." Adding insult to injury: no celebratory cigars from the ever-charming Dr. House, who refuses to accept that Taub could possibly have fathered these kids.
