Keck's Exclusives: Kathy Griffin to Visit NBC's Whitney

Kathy Griffin's latest TV guest appearance will be on an early 2012 episode of NBC's Whitney. Kathy, who has previously popped up on Glee, Ugly Betty and Drop Dead Diva, will play Lindsay, a co-worker of Whitney's pal, Roxanne. Whitney will do her best to win over Lindsay when she ends up taking a job as Roxanne's new assistant.

On set shooting just a few hours ago, Kathy tweeted: "Having a blast doin a guest spot on the @Whitneycummings show. Planning on stealing her wardrobe."

Though Kathy is now known primarily for her stand-up comedy and reality show, older fans (moi included) still remember she got her start as one of the regulars on Brooke Shield's 1996-2000 sitcom, Suddenly Susan.
