Katee Sackhoff Joins A&E's Longmire

Battlestar Galactica alum Katee Sackhoff has signed on to star in the upcoming A&E crime thriller Longmire, reports Entertainment Weekly.

Sackhoff will play a detective in a small Wyoming town, by way of Philadelphia. Robert Taylor and Lou Diamond Phillips will also appear on the show, which is being produced by those behind The Closer.

Cassidy Freeman also appeared in the Longmire pilot

Longmire is set to premiere on A&E in 2012.
