Sometimes — and it's a funny thing — I write more about a show when it gets the ax than I ever did before it hit the air. Case in point: Fox has declared Anchorwoman to be yesterday's news, spiking the "buxom beauty braves the news-reporting airwaves" series less than a Nicole Richie jail stay after its debut. (Anchorwoman premiered a distant fourth place in its Wednesday time slot, averaging a skimpy 2.7 million viewers.) The remaining seven episodes will be available on the Fox on Demand section of Fox.com.Moral: People don't want to get their news from pretty people. They want it from me.
