Smallville Star John Schneider Joins Desperate Housewives

Smallville's John Schneider has been tapped to join the cast of Desperate Housewivesfor multiple episodes as the father of Brian Austin Green's character, a show rep tells TVGuide.com.

The casting was first reported by Entertainment Weekly

Schneider is best known for playing Bo Duke on the '80s television series The Dukes of Hazzard, but recently recurred on Smallville as Clark Kent's father Jonathan.

Desperate Housewives returns Sunday, Sept. 26 at 9/8c on ABC.
