Fisher, who worked as a contractor for HP, said in a statement Sunday through her lawyer, Gloria Allred, that she never had an affair or an "intimate sexual relationship" with Hurd and that she never intended for her claims to cost him his job."I was surprised and saddened that Mark lost his job over this. That was never my intention," Fisher said. "I have resolved my claim with Mark privately, without litigation, and I do not intend to comment on it further. I wish Mark, his family and HP the best."Hurd resigned Friday after a probe by HP's board concluded that Hurd did not violate sexual harassment policies, but that he falsified expense reports covering payments for Fisher.

Fisher and Hurd met in 2007 when she was interviewing for a contractor position at HP. She worked as a marketing contractor there from 2007-09."At HP, I was under contract to work at high-level customer and executive summit events held around the country and abroad," Fisher said. "I prepared for those events, worked very hard and enjoyed working for HP."A graduate of Texas Tech University, Fisher, 50, appeared in such racy movies as 1992's Intimate Obsession and 1996's Body of Influence 2. She contested in the 2007 NBC reality show Age of Love, in which tennis pro Mark Philippoussis was asked to choose a gal pal between "kittens" (women in their 20s) and "cougars" (women in their 40s).
