Seacrest brings show on L.A.'s Persian community to Bravo
The workaholic American Idol and E! Newshost has cemented himself near the top of Mediaite's Power Grid this week after announcing yet another new project. Seacrest's production company is teaming with Bravo to make Shahs of Sunset, a show about Los Angeles' thriving Persian community.
Word of the show, which is being called a cross between Jersey Shore and Bravo's Real Housewives franchise, comes just days after Seacrest announced plans to host the two-day iHeartRadio music festival in Las Vegas.  The concert will feature such major acts as Lady Gaga, Coldplay and the Black Eyed Peas.
