Jenna Dewan will be sticking to the supernatural after her upcoming stint in American Horror Story: Asylum: The actress has landed a lead role on Lifetime's new pilot Witches of East End, TVLine reports. Dewan, the wife of Channing Tatum, will play Freya Beauchamp, a "sexy and fearless former wild child" who's the daughter of Julia Ormond's witch Joanna.
Jenna Dewan will be sticking to the supernatural after her upcoming stint in American Horror Story: Asylum: The actress has landed a lead role on Lifetime's new pilot Witches of East End, TVLine reports.
Dewan, the wife of Channing Tatum, will play Freya Beauchamp, a "sexy and fearless former wild child" who's the daughter of Julia Ormond's witch Joanna. The show is set in North Hampton and tells the story of Freya and her sister, who are unaware that they have magic powers until Freya becomes engaged to a rich philanthropist and their mother is forced to tell them about their gifts.
Jenna Dewan joins American Horror Story
Lifetime ordered the Witches of East End pilot earlier this summer for 2013. It's based on the best-selling novel by Melissa de la Cruz.
Dewan will next be seen on American Horror Story: Asylum, playing the girlfriend of Adam Levine's character.
