"When I get on stage, I'm a different person, and I think America might've twisted it a little bit...I know I ain't all that," she tells TVGuide.com.
In the interview below, the Nashville native also says that despite being sent home after her rendition of Diana Ross' "When You Tell Me That You Love Me," she doesn't regret the song choice.
"That song was not a big hit, and I didn't want to do a song that everyone has done on the show," she says. "Listen to the words because that's what it's all about."
