FOX Sports 1 (otherwise known as FS1) is a must-have for any sports fan, both because it broadcasts a heap of popular events (ranging from MLB to NASCAR to college football and basketball) and because it carries a wide variety of more niche sports, such as bowling, horse racing, and even the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. Beyond its live programming, the network also has news and commentary shows featuring big names like Colin Cowherd, Chris Broussard, Paul Pierce, and Keyshawn Johnson. If you're looking to get access to all this content ASAP, rest assured there are plenty of ways to do it. Here's how to watch FS1 without cable.

FS1
FS1/Getty ImagesBack in 2013, FS1 took the spot of the now-defunct Speed network, which focused on motorsports. That means that there's currently an abundance of NASCAR FS1 programming, including coverage of the Cup Series and Craftsman Truck Series. If you have a need for even more speed, you can also watch the National Hot Rod Association and ARCA Menards Series on FS1.
But FS1's racing coverage isn't just about revving engines. It's also a go-to channel for horse racing enthusiasts, who can watch lots of graded stakes races courtesy of the New York Racing Association. And when you're in the mood for something a bit slower paced, you can catch the PBA Tour, Major League Rugby, dozens of regular season and postseason baseball games, UFL games, and even (in 2026) the FIFA World Cup, which will hold its final match at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey for the first time ever.
To put it simply, FS1 is stocked with sports, and it's become an essential part of any sports fan's repertoire. So without further ado, here's where to watch FS1, cable-free.
FOX One is a new streaming service that has live news, sports, and entertainment from FOX's whole portfolio. That, of course, includes FS1. That means Sunday NFL showdowns all the way through the NFC Championship, complete coverage of Major League Baseball from the regular season to the All-Star Game and the World Series, plus a full slate of NASCAR Cup Series action highlighted by the Daytona 500. Viewers can also catch INDYCAR races, high-profile Big Ten college football matchups, and the highly anticipated 2026 FIFA World Cup — all streaming live in one place for just $19.99/month.
Hulu + Live TV carries FS1 in its channel lineup. You can get Hulu + Live TV, Disney+, and ESPN Unlimited, all with ads, for $82.99/month (after a three-day free trial); or you can get Hulu (With Ads) + Live TV, Disney+ (No Ads), and ESPN Unlimited (With Ads) for $87.99/month; or lastly you can get Hulu (No Ads) + Live TV, Disney+ (No Ads), and ESPN Unlimited (With Ads) for $95.99/month. Any of these choices will not only get you instant access to FS1, but also supply you with loads of networks that carry live sports year-round.
DIRECTV STREAM also includes FS1 in its robust lineup of channels. DIRECTV STREAM's subscription options include Entertainment for $84.99/month, Choice for $89.99/month, Ultimate for $119.99/month, and Premier for $164.99/month (please note, these prices may differ depending on your regional sports fees and other factors). Sling TV carries FS1 as part of its Blue plan. Subscription options include Blue by itself (which is $50.99/month), as well as Orange + Blue, which is $65.99/month (half off for the first month). Whatever you go with, you'll have FS1 and dozens of other channels as part of a cost-saving alternative to traditional cable.
You can also opt for Sling Passes, a new option from Sling that has day, weekend, and week-long passes.
If you're outside the U.S. and want to keep up with FS1, a VPN can help you stay connected. By masking your location and routing your internet through a U.S. server, VPN services like ExpressVPN, Private Internet Access, and NordVPN make it possible to access FS1 just as if you were stateside. Once connected, you'll be able to tune in to all your favorite live sports and shows without interruption.
