Richard Callis/Eurasia Sport Images/Getty ImagesAfter nearly two weeks of exciting international club football, we are down to the sixteen best teams in the tournament. With some heavyweights and some surprise members of the final sixteen, we are set up for an exciting finish to the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 edition.
With the last three Champions League winners, some of Brazil's powerhouses and a single MLS side (that just so happens to feature the greatest player of all time), there are plenty of reasons to watch all of the action. Here is how you can make sure you catch the next round of the FIFA Club World Cup.

For some historical context, the tournament began in 2000 in Brazil as the FIFA Club World Championship, running alongside the Intercontinental Cup. The Intercontinental Cup, which featured a showdown between the winners of the UEFA Champions League and the Copa Libertadores, was also billed — like the FIFA Club World Championship — as a battle for the title of the world's best club. Then in 2017, the two competitions merged to form the current tournament, the FIFA Club World Cup.
In 2025, the tournament expands to 32 teams, featuring eight groups of four teams that will compete in a round-robin format, with the top two from each group advancing to the knockout stage. The 16 team knockout stage will commence on Saturday, June 28 to determine the two finalists who will compete on Sunday, July 15. Manchester City of the English Premier League are the current title holders, while Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid holds the record for the most victories, with five.
Now, watching all of these games won't be as difficult as you might think. Why? Well, you can stream every second on DAZN, a subscription-based sports streamer that's got live and on-demand coverage of a wide variety of sports, including FIFA Club World Cup games. Here's how to get it.
The entirety of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will be exclusively streamed on DAZN. In what FIFA describes as a "historic broadcasting deal," all 63 matches will be live streamed for free on DAZN worldwide — no subscription required. Whether you're tuning in from home or on the go, you can catch every match from the group stage to the final without spending a dime.
DAZN is available on all major connected devices, including smart TVs, smartphones, tablets, and gaming consoles. As long as you've got an internet connection, you're good to go — meaning you won't miss a single goal, save, or dramatic finish.
And if you like what you see during the tournament, DAZN also offers paid plans with additional content beyond the Club World Cup. For long-term sports fans, the 12-Month Monthly Saver plan is $19.99/month, giving you access to DAZN's full lineup — including over 150 boxing and MMA fights, behind-the-scenes documentaries, and expert fight analysis. Just keep in mind that this plan requires a full 12-month commitment and can't be canceled early.
Prefer to keep things casual? The Flexible Pass goes for $29.99/month and lets you cancel anytime with just 30 days' notice. It's perfect if you want full access to DAZN's library without locking yourself into a year-long plan — and if you cancel early, you'll only pay for what you've used thanks to pro-rata billing.
Whether you're just here for the Club World Cup stream or ready to dive into DAZN's full sports lineup, you've got plenty of ways to watch.
Trying to keep up with fights, football, or exclusive DAZN content while you're traveling or outside your home region? A VPN can make all the difference. By masking your location and connecting you to a server in another country, a VPN helps unlock DAZN streams that might otherwise be restricted where you are — no geo-blocks, no interruptions.
If speed and reliability are a must, ExpressVPN is a solid choice, starting at $8.32/month and backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee. Want to save a little cash? Private Internet Access offers dependable service for just $2/month. You can also go with NordVPN, which is fast, user-friendly, and often heavily discounted (we're talking up to 76% off). No matter where you're tuning in from, a VPN helps make sure DAZN's lineup — from big-name bouts to behind-the-scenes docs — is always within reach.
Please note: all times are in local time.
Daily Notables: The first knockout matchup sees an all-Brazilian league tie, with Palmeiras hosting league rivals Botafogo. Botafogo is riding high as one of the biggest surprises in the knockout rounds, sending Spanish giant Atletico Madrid home early. The evening tilt has Portuguese giants Benfica take on Premier League powerhouse Chelsea. Benfica topped an extremely tough group with both Bayern and Boca Juniors and despite being underdogs, will not be an easy matchup for Chelsea.
Daily Notables: The people at FIFA couldn't have asked for a better round of 16 matchup than the European champions versus perhaps the greatest player of the generation. That's what they will get when PSG and their Champions League trophy take on Lionel Messi and Inter Miami. It will be interesting to see if Messi's former manager Luis Enrique has any tactics to take the legend out of the match. The evening game sees Group D winner Flamengo take on Bayern Munich. The German side came out firing with a 10-0 destruction of Auckland City in their first match, but misfired in their match with Benfica. Flamengo and newest signing Jorginho played exceptionally well in all three of their group stage matches and will not roll over for Bayern's star studded XI.
Daily Notables: Today features the two teams that composed the 2023 UEFA Champions League final (Manchester City and Inter Milan) going up against two teams that are used to winning trophies in their own leagues (Fluminense of the Brazilian league and Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League).
Daily Notables: The final set of Round of 16 matches features two intriguing matchups. In the first game of the day, we have a rematch of the 2017 Champions League Final, with Real Madrid taking on Juventus. While Juventus are no longer the powerhouse that reached that final, they'll be hoping to upset Madrid on the backs of young stars like Kenan Yildiz and Francisco Conceição. Madrid will be eager to add a trophy to their cabinet this year after missing out on the league title. In the other match, group-stage winners Borussia Dortmund will look to overcome a stout Monterrey defensive line that conceded just one goal in the group stage.
