How to Get Away with Murder Sneak Peek: Mary J. Blige Has No Time for Annalise's Drama

Mary J. Blige wants no more drama IRL -- and on How to Get Away with Murder as well.

The singer guest-stars in Thursday's episode in a top-secret, pivotal role as Annalise's (Viola Davis) hairdresser, and we've got your first look at her appearance.

Blige's character clearly appears in a flashback, as she works on Annalise's long braids and half-jokingly chides her client for "this mood you're in." "You finally screwed up with the cop?" she asks. Shout-out to Nate (Billy Brown)! (Unless Annalise has notched more than one cop on her belt, which wouldn't surprise us.)

There's also lots of talk of libations, which no doubt will tie into Annalise's present-day storyline of starting AA. Perhaps she's flashing back to this during her first AA meeting?

Blige has only filmed one episode thus far, but creator Peter Nowalk said she could potentially recur. We are down.
