Gwendoline Christie's Game of Thrones Season 8 Premiere Look Is a Flex for Tall Women Everywhere

Say goodbye to slouching forever

Gwendoline Christie is 6'3" and proud of every bit of it.

The Game of Thrones star has never been shy about embracing her height, even when stepping into a pair of heels that have her towering over most everyone else on any given red carpet. Her latest look is particularly inspiring for those of us who are also vertically enhanced.

At last night's Season 8 premiere event in New York, Christie brought her own song of fire with a silk Iris Van Herpen gown that had the entire internet in a tizzy over just how stunning, majestic, and on-theme she looked.

Between the motion of the gown itself, her no-fuss hairstyle, and an expression that says she knows she's a boss, this is a whole-package presentation right here from Brienne of Tarth.

In addition to leaving everyone to pick up their jaws off the floor, Christie's magnificent visage has also become a source of inspiration for tall girls everywhere who've long struggled to accept their height, for one reason or another.

Twitter was ablaze with testimonials from other tall women who feel a bit more proud of being part of the club after seeing Christie own the show.

For those of us who've ever gotten sore shoulders and strained knee ligaments trying to slouch down to a smaller size around others, seeing Christie embrace her space is the stuff goals are made of.

Just let Brienne take over the Iron Throne already.

Game of Thrones Season 8 premieres Sunday, April 14 at 9/8c on HBO.
