Country princess Taylor Swift kept her awards mojo going, with eight Grammy nominations, butBeyoncé had the most — 10 — as the Recording Academy announced the nominees with a live, music-filled special for the second year in a row.
Highlights from CBS' The Grammy Nominations Concert Live! — Countdown to Music's Biggest Night included performances by Maxwell — who offered a Michael Jackson tribute — and the Black Eyed Peas.
The Peas garnered six nods, as did Maxwell and Kanye West. Host LL Cool J opened the show with a medley of hits from the past year.
The 52nd annual Grammy Awards ceremony will air Sunday, Jan. 31 (8/7c) on CBS.
