Connie Meester, mother of Gossip Girl's Leighton, is writing a memoir, according to E! The book will reportedly include details of Leighton's birth while Connie was doing time for drug-related crimes, as first reported by Star magazine on Tuesday.Connie initially wrote her life story as a screenplay, but will now convert it into a book, according to her manager, Loch Powell, with chapters describing her role in a family marijuana-trafficking ring that was busted by the Feds in 1985. Powell reports that mother and daughter are "very close."
