In a move that will surprise no one (except, maybe, M. Diddy herself), sources tell TVGuide.com that NBC has opted not to renew The Apprentice: Martha Stewart for a second season. Since debuting in September, Martha's Apprentice has proven to be a bad thing ratings-wise, averaging less than seven million viewers. Officially, NBC is saying the show was only intended to run for one cycle. In other words, even if it had pulled in 35 million viewers a week, it still would have been axed after one season. Um, right.
