HBO is developing a new comedy series from Sex and the City creator Darren Star that would star Goldie Hawn, Deadline reports.
The project, based on the book The Viagra Diaries, would be Hawn's first acting role since The Banger Sisters almost ten years ago.

The Viagra Diaries, released in 2009 and written by Barbara Rose Brooker, follows a woman who struggles with being single for the first time in 35 years after her husband leaves her at 65. Star, who created and executive produced HBO's massive hit Sex and the City as well as Beverly Hills, 90210, is writing the script.
Star and Hawn are also attached as executive producers, along with Aaron Kaplan, husband-and-wife team Peter and Wendy Riche, and their son, Peter.

Hawn, 65, launched her acting career on the small screen — in comedies like Good Morning Worldand Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In, before moving to films. She won an Oscar in 1970 for her performance in Cactus Flower.
Star and Kaplan are also both executive producing ABC's upcoming primetime soap, G.C.B. (formerly Good Christan Belles), which is set to debut midseason.
