Gleeks, get your popcorn ready. The Glee concert tour is becoming a 3D movie to hit theaters this August, Fox announced Wednesday.

Glee Live! 3D! will be released on Aug. 12 for a limited two-week run. The film will be produced by series co-creator Ryan Murphy and directed by Kevin Tancharoen (Fame).

Glee cast to tour the U.K.

"This tour was all about going out and performing for our amazing fans who have supported our show from the beginning, but due to the limited time we had to travel during our hiatus, there were only so many cities we could get to before we had to resume work on the television series," Murphy said in a statement. "We promise every passionate 'Gleek' a cinematic experience that will have them singing and dancing in the aisles."

The Glee tour, featuring 14 members from the musical series' cast, will include live performances of "Teenage Dream," original song "Loser Like Me" and series staple "Don't Stop Believin.'"

The Glee tour kicks off on May 21 in Las Vegas and wraps up on June 18 in Uniondale, N.Y., when the tour will head across the pond to the United Kingdom.
