Report: Gary Coleman hospitalized after seizure
Coleman, who lives in Santaquin, 55 miles south of Salt Lake City, was taken to a Utah hospital on Wednesday, his rep said.
"We are saddened to announce that since mid afternoon, Mountain Time, on May 27, 2010, Mr. Coleman has been unconscious and on life support," Coleman's rep John Alcantar said in a statement. "He was immediately taken to a local hospital [on Wednesday] for treatment. Later that evening, Mr. Coleman was moved to another hospital for further tests and treatment. As of mid morning on May 27, Mr. Coleman was conscious and lucid. By early afternoon, Mr. Coleman was slipping in and out of consciousness and his condition worsened. Due to his condition, Mr. Coleman has not undergone any surgery."
Gary Coleman "fine" after being taken to hospital
This is the third hospitalization for the 42-year-old actor this year. In January, he was admitted as a precaution for tests. The second came after suffering a seizure the following month on the set of The Insider.
