Archer, FX's racy animated spy comedy, has been renewed for a second season, the network announced on Monday. The half-hour comedy has been picked up for 13 episodes, three more than its debut season.
"We are incredibly excited about the opportunity to make a second season of Archer," said creator Adam Reed, "and grateful that FX has enough faith in the show to allow it to build an audience. Excelsior!"
The show has averaged 1.2 million viewers over its first seven episodes. Archer returns with new episodes on Thursday, March 4 at 10/9c. The Season 1 finale will air on March 18.
