Fox Creates Tuesday Night Comedy Block, Glee Goes on Long Hiatus

Sorry, Gleeks: After regionals, Gleeis going on a nearly two-month hiatus to make room for a new Tuesday night comedy block.

Beginning March 6, Raising Hope will kick off Tuesday nights at 8/7c, followed by the return of I Hate My Teenage Daughter at 8:30/7:30c. New Girl will stay in its regular timeslot at 9/8c and Breaking Inwill follow at 9:30/8:30c.

The last new episode of Glee  -- a showdown between New Directions and the Warblers -- will air Tuesday, Feb. 21. A two-hour live episode of American Idolwill air in its timeslot the following week on Tuesday, Feb. 28.  

Glee will return with fresh episodes on Tuesday, April 10 at 8/7c.
