_Fear the Walking Dead_ Renewed for Third Season
Chris Hardwick's _Talking Dead: Fear_ will also return
AMC renewed Fear the Walking Dead less than a week after its sophomore season debuted.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Walking Dead spin-off's third season will consist of 16 episodes and premiere in 2017. The Chris Hardwick companion series, Talking Dead: Fear, will also return.
Set before the events of The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead follows a family at the very onset of the zombie apocalypse. Sunday's second season premiere drew 8.8 million viewers, making it the No. 2 cable show this season behind The Walking Dead.
