CBS Moves Extant to Later Timeslot

Is Extant nearly extinct?

After two weeks of declining ratings, CBS is pushing its limited event series Extant back one hour to 10/9c.

Instead of leading out of the network's popular summer reality series Big Brother, the sci-fi drama about alien pregnancies and robotic children will now follow repeats of Criminal Minds beginning Wednesday.

Last week, Extant was down 30 percent from its debut, pulling in only 6.5 million viewers and a 1.1 in the demo.
