Double the Marcias, double the adorbs
Sarah Paulson is poised to win her first Emmy at Sunday's ceremony, and the People v. O.J. Simpson star brought along a very special date: Marcia Clark.
Paulson played the iconic prosecutor in the FX drama, which scored 22 Emmy nominations this year, including Lead Actress in a Limited Series for Paulson.
The actress and Clark first met when shooting on The People v. O.J. was almost finished. And while meeting the woman portraying you on TV could be a very awkward affair, Clark broke the ice by telling Paulson, "I want to apologize for the hair," referring to Clark's notorious short perm during the O.J. Simpson trial.

Since then, the pair developed a mutual admiration for each other, with Clark praising Paulson's performance and Paulson speaking out against the misogynist treatment Clark faced in the media.
"I do think Marcia was vilified," Paulson told TVGuide.com. "She was a woman in a man's world that was not given a lot of respect."
And though Paulson's girlfriend Holland Taylor couldn't be with the actress for the big night (she's currently working on a Broadway play), Taylor was sending good vibes Paulson's way.
