Popular online auction site eBay reportedly is close to inking a deal with ABC for a television show. According to inside.com, the proposed series would allow viewers to make purchases similar to those made on the eBay web site, only via their television sets. "It would most likely involve trading with an auction-style format," eBay spokesman Chris Donlay said of the series, which could run up to five times a week. However, it's doubtful the show would run during primetime.
