E! Releases Promo for Upcoming Special: Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce

E! is dedicating a two-part special of Keeping Up With the Kardashians to Bruce Jenner's recently announced gender transition.

In the first promo for the special, About Bruce, the former Olympian discusses the difficulty of coming out as a transgender woman.

(Note: Per E!, Bruce Jenner is not living publicly in the media as a woman, and would like to be referred to as Bruce Jenner and with he/him pronouns for the time being.)

"You think someday you're going to get over it," says Bruce Jenner in a voiceover as clips of him as a young athlete play. "These are my secrets, that I have to deal with, on my own."

The promos also features clips of Jenner dating Kris, their wedding day, and photos and videos of him as a dad to young kids.

According to E!, the special will involve "Bruce and the Kardashian family talking openly about their love and concern for each other, and understanding the struggle Bruce has been fighting his entire life."

Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce will air on Sunday, May 17 at 9/8c and then Monday, May 18 at 9/8c on E! The eight-part docuseries about Jenner's transition and life afterward will premiere on Sunday, July 26 at 9/8c.
