Watch The Rock Eat Candy for the First Time Since 1989
Jimmy Fallon fed Dwayne Johnson sugary snacks he hadn't had in almost three decades
The Berlin Wall was still standing the last time Dwayne Johnson ate candy. He had a Twizzler in 1989, and since then it's just been cod filets and brown rice. But after Jimmy Fallon found this out, he made it his mission to feed The Rock sweet treats. The Tonight Show host pulled out some possibilities -- Twizzlers, Ring-Pops and the world's largest gummy worm -- before settling, appropriately, on Pop Rocks.
"So that's what candy tastes like!" The Rock enthused. "Wow, that's amazing." To be honest, though, I don't think he's going to develop a sweet tooth now, unless science somehow figures out a way to make Twizzlers out of whey protein.
