Dolly Parton does nothing small. So for the 25th anniversary of her Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, theme park, Dollywood, she teamed up with the Hallmark Channel for a blowout concert, airing Saturday, July 3 at 8/7c. "It was a good marriage. They're family-oriented and the park is tailor-made for kids and families," says Parton, who was as sweet as Southern tea during a recent chat.

TV Guide Magazine: Twenty-five years is a long time.

Parton: It just flew by! It was something I'd always dreamed of if I made it big in show business—to come back [home] and do something great.

TV Guide Magazine: Have you ridden every ride?

Parton: I have ridden none of the rides! I have too much to lose—like my hair, my nails, and Lord only knows what else might fall out. But it's better advertisement that I'm afraid to ride them, because the kids think, "Oh, my Lord, if she's scared, it must be really wild."

TV Guide Magazine: Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus perform with you, as does Kenny Rogers. Can we expect "Islands in the Stream"?

Parton: Oh, of course. It's just one of those songs that I never get tired of singing, or hearing, either.

TV Guide Magazine: How about you and Miley?

Parton: We sing "Jolene," which is absolutely great, because it is about two women fighting over the same man. [Laughs] A younger woman and an older woman—and I'll just let you figure out who is the older one!
