First Look: Disney XD's Gravity Falls Returns for Season 2
The mysterious and quirky world of Gravity Falls is finally back for another season after a year-long break. The Disney XD animated cult fave picks up where Season 1 left off, as nemesis Lil' Gideon has been defeated and the Pines family looks to return things to normal. In the Season 2 opener "Scary-oke," Grunkle Stan, Dipper and Mabel Pines throw a "Mystery Shack is Back" party — but then some unwelcome guests crash it. The episode premieres on Friday, Aug. 1 at 9/8c on Disney Channel, before moving to its regular home, Disney XD, on Monday, Aug. 4 at 9/8c. Immediately following the Monday airing, at 9:30/8:30c, Disney XD will air another episode, "Into the Bunker." The episode follows Dipper as his secret journal pages lead him to the author's hidden bunker — where they meet a mysterious Gravity Falls figure.
