Based on the popular podcast of the same name and the real life story of Debra Newell, Dirty John tells the story of a successful business woman, Debra (Connie Britton), who falls in love with a dangerous con-man named John Meehan (Eric Bana). In an exclusive sneak peek of this week's episode, the smallest sense of suspicion starts to seep in when John asks Debra to deposit a huge sum of cash for him at the bank.

His excuse seems valid enough -- his patients often come uninsured and pay him in cash -- but something is still fishy about this request. Why can't he deposit it to his own account? And what exactly does "getting creative" with his accounting mean? Even more frustrating, Debra doesn't push back when he gets defensive, she simply reveals she actually keeps $80,000 lying around the house in case of an emergency and suggests he keep his cash with hers. She even shows him where she hides it! GIRL! STOP!
