Dick Clark Cremated; Memorial Service Plans Not Finalized

Legendary radio and television personality Dick Clark has been cremated, CNN reports.

The host of American Bandstand host died Wednesday after suffering a massive heart attack. He was 82. Plans for a memorial service have not been finalized, Clark's rep told CNN.

Still, a tribute to Clark is already being planned for New Year's Eve. Messages from by Clark's fans, written on square inch pieces of confetti, will be showered on Times Square in the New Year to honor the Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve host, according to the New York Post.
