David Cassidy Arrested on DUI Charge

Former Partridge Family star David Cassidy has been arrested on a DUI charge.
The actor was pulled over Wednesday night by the Florida Highway Patrol after he was seen swerving off the turnpike, his police report said. Cassidy, 60, told police that he had a glass of wine around lunch time and took a hydrocodone painkiller around 3:30 p.m., according to the report. A half-empty bottle of bourbon was found in the backseat, the report said.

The trooper also wrote that Cassidy was "swaying while standing" after he got out of the vehicle and that the star blew a 0.139 and 0.141 on his breathalyzer tests — both of which are well over the .08 legal limit.Cassidy was later booked at a local jail before bonding out Thursday morning.
