Some of the tributes are heartbreaking
As people around the world woke up Monday morning to the news that David Bowie had died at age 69 after a secret battle with cancer, several celebrities turned to social media to pay tribute to the iconic, chameleon-like musician.
Though Bowie's greatest legacy comes from his music, including classic songs like "Let's Dance," "Space Oddity" and "Golden Years," his influence also extended to the worlds of fashion, visual art and acting.
