Once Upon a Time's David Anders Joins the Cast of Necessary Roughness

Dr. Frankenstein has found a new home.

David Anders has been tapped as a recurring guest star in the third season of Necessary Roughness, USA Network announced Thursday.

Anders will play Troy Cutler, second-in-command to Connor (recently announced recurring star John Stamos) at V3, the world's premier sports and talent agency. Having sacrificed his personal life for his career, Troy gets satisfaction by getting his hands a little dirty for the company — something that doesn't sit well with Dr. Dani (Callie Thorne).

Anders, who currently recurs on Once Upon a Timeas Dr. Whale/Dr. Frankenstein, is well-known for his roles on The Vampire Diaries, 24, Heroesand Alias.

Necessary Roughness will return for its third season this summer.
