Dark Blue Renewed for Season 2

Dark Blue has been renewed for a second season, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

The TNT cop drama stars Dylan McDermott as the leader of an undercover LAPD team. The show is expected to return next summer, according to the network. The Wrap is reporting that Season 2 will premiere in June.

Just last week, TNT canceled another summer procedural, Raising the Bar, which had continually outperformed Dark Blue last summer. Dark Blue premiered to 3.5 million viewers in July but began losing a considerable amount of its lead-in from the network's heist caper Leverage. By the end of its first season, Dark Blue hit a series-low of 1.61 million viewers.
