"I am one of those guys who loves Christmas. I love when radio only plays Christmas music," says the Hootie and the Blowfish front man-turned-country star, who is especially thrilled to be singing his own holiday tune, "Candy Cane Christmas." "I wanted to write an old-timey, traditional song," Rucker says of the swinging Sinatra-like single, available on iTunes.
He's also excited to see some of the new pals he's made since going country, like tour mate Paisley. "When you become friends with guys in country, you're actually friends with them. That's one of the things that is awesome about country music."
