It's lonely being queen for Internet deity Cindy Margolis. If she had to choose a cyberconsort to share her throne, she — along with everyone else — would check out the "king-me" potential of Latin prince Ricky Martin. "Hopefully he downloaded me," Margolis tells the TV Guide Channel. Even if Martin hasn't, there are plenty of other prospects for her to consider. As the host of In Your Dreams With Cindy Margolis, seen on E!, she gets to play fairy godmother to aspiring actors, comedians and musicians by introducing them to surprise celebrity/mentor guests who have made it. Margolis knows firsthand about waiting for that big break. "It's really hard out there. How do you get noticed? I just try to get these people a little closer to their dream. If I can help them out, it's a thrill for me to do so."

On a recent show, a fledgling band got a bad case of dry mouth when poster boy Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray dropped by to give them an impromptu pep talk. Margolis says the band had no clue about the planned surprise. "In walks Mark, their idol. They almost became speechless. They had no idea."
